Taxis: At your arrival in Mexico City International Airport, use the authorized taxi service only. Rates are set per destination, and tickets can be purchased at clearly identified booths within the luggage claim area and the main exits.
Weather: Mild in the winter, dry and hot in April and May. The rainy season starts in May and ends around October, usually with sunny mornings, followed by cloudy and rainy afternoons. It may be cold in the morning and at night, especially during winter. The average temperature is 15°C (59°F).
Credit Cards: The Hotel and most Restaurants, Travel Agencies, Airlines, etc. will accept international credit cards: Visa, American Express, Master Card, Dinners Club. We recommend you to ask before using your card.
The currency is the Peso Mexicano (Mexican Peso). Money Exchanges will exchange your foreign currency for pesos, and most are open from 09:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, and from 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Daylight Savings: Daylight Savings in start on the first Sunday of April, when you set your watch one hour ahead, to the last Sunday of October.
Safety: For your personal safety, we recommend you not to wear expensive jewelry, luxury items, and other valuables, or to keep them in the hotel safety box
